There are several different ways you can add a photo to a post. The first way is to use the MyFastPhoto toolbar. This is a fast and easy way to insert images directly into a post. When creating a post, browse and select an individual photo or a zip file containing multiple photos off your hard drive. Once you select your photo or zip file, click the "Upload" button. Only photos with the extensions of jpg, gif, or png can be uploaded using MyFastPhoto. FastPhotos are processed and displayed as following: Once the photo is uploaded it will automatically be displayed in your Photo Cache. You must check the Add Photo Cache box in the Options category and then click the “Preview” button to have your rrFastPhoto inserted into your post. The second way you can add photos to a post is by uploading photos to My Gallery. Once the photo(s) is located in your gallery, follow the steps shown below:
Use the MY GALLERY link at the top of any
RR page to upload and manage your photos.
The following screen pops up with your selection.
Then you insert photo cache with create new topic, post reply or edit post.

RunRyder moves topics, usually within the first 24 hours of posting, for several different reasons. The main reason topics are moved is to place the topic in a more specific forum. Topics are frequently placed in the Main Discussion that would be better served in a different forum. For example, an electric helicopter topic would be moved off the Main Discussion to the e-Electric General Discussion. RunRyder offers the option of surfing and seeing only electrics and many members view Electric forums only. If the topic title points to a specific model (for example: Century Swift) it will be moved to the e-Century Hummingbird & Swift forum. Many vendors only visit their specific forum therefore your topic would be better addressed in the product specific forum. The Main Discussion is not a place for Classified deals that have gone bad. Warning other RR members of a bad guy should be placed in the CLASSIFIEDS - Feedback - Scams forum. Classified topics may also be moved if the item being sold belongs in a different category or if the item sold is not RC helicopter related. RunRyder only allows Classifieds for non RC helicopter related items to be placed in CLASSIFIEDS - Trade or Wanted forum or the e-Classifieds Elec-Trade Wanted forum. The top of each classified forum explains this rule. **If you believe your topic was moved and you are unable to locate it, click the logo located at the top of every page. This will display all your topics and their location.

You first need to decide what category your For Sale item falls under. There are two basic Classified areas, one for fuel based helis/parts, the other for electric based helis/parts. Review the forums and post your item in the correct forum. For example, an electric helicopter kit should be posted in the e-Classifieds Elec-Helicopters forum. Once you decide what category your For Sale item goes under, go into that forum and “Create New Topic”. Under the “Create New Topic” screen, first pick what region you are from. Then type in a subject of your For Sale item. For example: Trex 450 SE, with 3 servos, and Astro motor. In the message box, go into more detail regarding your For Sale item. Exactly what the product is. Its condition. How much you are willing to sell it for. How much shipping the buyer will have to pay. What sort of payment you will accept. It is also important to include pictures. You can do this by uploading pictures to your Gallery or using the MyFastPhoto toolbar. To learn more about including photos in your post click here. After you are done including all the information above, click the "Preview" button to view your For Sale post. If it looks good, then click “Submit New Topic”. RunRyder members interested in buying typically PM the seller and discuss the sale through private messaging. You will be alerted to any PM responses by the flashing PM symbol found at the top of the screen. Members can also reply to your topic. If you find that you’ve priced the For Sale item too high and wish to lower the price you can "Post Reply" to your topic and announce a price drop. Once your item is sold there are two things you can do to announce that it is sold. First you can edit the subject of the original For Sale post and add “SOLD” to the title. You can do this by clicking on the "EDIT" link at the bottom right corner of your original post. Once you are in the "Edit Post for Topic:" screen add “SOLD” to the subject. Then click the “Save Edit” button at the bottom of the screen. Secondly, you can choose to close your topic. This will prevent anyone from post replying to it. To do this, click on the "EDIT" link at the bottom right corner of your post within the topic. Once you are under the "Edit Post for Topic:" screen select the "OK to close" box and then click the “Close Topic” button. Once you close your topic, you will not be able to reopen it. ***Buyer beware! RunRyder cannot vouch for any seller's or buyer's credibility and will not accept responsibility for any transactions resulting from the use of this site.

There are Five Items to Consider to manage your RR email notifications.
Email notifications are sent to all members who utilize subscriptions and/or the private messaging system on the site. RR emails notify members of new subscriptions and/or new private messages. By default, email notifications for new personal messages and new subscription activity are sent five minutes since your last activity on the site. You can change the frequency of email notifications by going to myHome - Edit Options (Messaging, Subscriptions & Notification) and changing the waiting period for PM Notification and Post Notification. The longer the waiting period, the less frequent an email notification will be sent. To prevent yourself from receiving notifications about new posts in a topic you created or post replied to, uncheck the box next to Subscribe To This Topic under the Options category before you "Submit New Topic" or "Submit Post Reply".

Replying to a PM in your Inbox with the Save Copy option checked (the automatic default) will move a copy of the original Inbox PM and your response to your Sent folder. The Sent folder contains your complete PM conversation including date and time for each part of the conversation. Your original Inbox PM is removed from the Inbox and placed in your Trash folder. This process is done to avoid duplicate PMs in your Inbox and Sent folders. Nothing is lost by default. The sent folder is the key focal point of PM work done. Go there and click the number next to the member name to review or reuse older PMs associated with that member. You can move any conversations in the Sent folder to specific folders you create. Unchecking "Save Copy" keeps your original pm in your Inbox. RunRyder does not recommend doing this because you will not have access to your reply words. Replying multiple times to sent PMs can be achieved by editing the "Recipient:" field. **RunRyder PMs are automatically deleted three years after they were created and sent. If you wish to keep something permanently, please save a copy to your personal computer.

In myHOME, ignored members are shown first (top left). If I ignore a member: I will not see the ignored member's posts or be able to PM the ignored. If I am being ignored: Except for classifieds, I cannot post reply to the ignorer’s topics. I cannot PM ignorer. I will see all the ignorer’s posts. **How do I add someone to my ignore list?
