Well i learned something new today about MO's. I always uses MO because i hate paypal and the way they make Money off people. Well for the first time this week i sent a western union MO becuase the usps system was down at my post office . I sent it usps priorty mail. well he gets it today and said they wont cash it because i didnt sign it. I didnt see a place for me to sign it. I know when you cash it you have to sign it. I even called western union and they stated there was no place for me to sign so to make a long story short im out of 320.00 for a ys engine for at least 30 days to get a refund and have to pay 15.00 to stop payment! If anybody deals with western union please chime in!

I have been waiting for a refund from western union for over 3 months
The only reason I used them was because I made an offer on an item and didn't ask if he took paypal. Then it was never delivered lost in mail had to send a USPS money order & pay for express shipping and request the refund from W U that was the first week of september.

I will never use western union again

CRASH! GLUE! REPEAT!

I don't suppose the seller could do something simple like find the local Western Union office to cash the thing . . . the surely would know what was required, or could educate the other blockheads . . . .

Don't know if i'll ever send a MO to someone i don't know again..
I bought a Sim a year or so ago, guy got the Postal money order. Cashed it and for 3 weeks at least, everytime i checked with the post office they said it hadn't been cashed yet. Then i asked about stopping payment on it they told me i couldn't unless it was lost.

So by the time they figured out it was cashed the guy had quit anwsering pm's ect... to sum it up after stumbling onto another deal he was trying to do on another guy. A fellow member on here twisted the guys tail and i got my sim about a week or two later...
( Thanks again Spork).. Nothing is fool proof "ya pays yer money and takes yer chances"...

I didn't mean anything against the seller, just doing long distance deals over the net...

Sounds to me like you need to get Western Union into the process, and educate the boobs at one of the offices . . . somebody is clearly in the dark . . .

Why can't the guy just sign your name. It's not that big a deal. Hey, as long as it cashes...

Exactly right. If a person reads the instructions on the WU money order it explains all of it. But some people dont read instructions. Sorry cant fault WU for a users lack of reading instructions.
