Hi, i'm looking to get a logo 500 with V-BAR. I was planning on using the Ino-Lab D760 servo's. I would prefer the HB because they are slightly faster, lighter, smooter... the only downside is more chance of stripping them in a crash. Is there any good other reason to opt for the MG's instead, and also is the wear on MG servo's of any significance anyway. Can you strip HB servo's in flight with a flybarless machine? That's all for now

Yep, HB servos can be stripped in flight with V-Bar.

Defintely go with some MG servos, there is alot of load on the larger helis with vstabi.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Thanks for the top tip, no chance of stripping the MG's in flight though right?
So how many flights 'till you gotta replace the gears on the MG's.

Lots of my colleagues in europe use the Futaba BLS 451 with the VBar... Some of them have 200 flights and more!

Hope it helps,

Peter

Those new futaba's are really nice but way beyond my budget, I'll have to do with Hitec or Ino-lab.

Before I order, the ino-lab D760MG's have 9,6kg of torque, is that enough for flybarless or should I go with the slower but 13,3kg 751MG's?

Hi Flexis,

9.6kg is enough for Logo 500, the model with full equipment is less than 3kg.

Inolabs are great servos, center nice and work good.

OK thanks a lot, I thought they would be strong enough but I have no idea how much load the servo's take with a V-BAR this is my first flybarless. Something tells me it's gonna be awesome

Run the 2s 7.4v battery pack directly into your receiver.
