I have an issue with people who feel it necessary to post in your ad the price of your item that they found somewhere cheaper...it's just plain RUDE! IF you feel you have to say something, have some manors and just send a PM!

This has happened to me before and really pissed me off. This post was spurred from an ad I just read where someone did that.

I know we are coming into the holiday season and a lot of people will be selling stuff off to buy other stuff.

Just a nightly rant

Well said! If you have something you would like to say that's not constructive to one's ad, PM it!

That is annoying to say the least. What gets my goat are the folks who ask a million obscure questions (Are the skid nuts dark or light blue? type stuff) one at a time via pm.

Some people are good naturedly looking to keep newb's from getting ripped off. Not saying its a good thing or not rude, but the line of thinking isn't always obnoxious.

Sellers have the right to put any starting price on an item.
If you seem to think it's to high or could get it somewhere else for less, that's cool. Let it go, it's rude to post about being able to get it for less.

If you don't like or don't want to pay the asking price just keep your mouth shut and move along!!!

And another one is,why can't they close or put sold in the header when it gets sold or traded. It is annoying to read to the last post, then its sold,or send a PM and they say it's gone.

That's just plain being lazy or forgetfull. Many sellers are guilty of this.

Myself included.

hi
another one just as bad is , once you have struck a deal , mark the sale as pending

i hate to send someone money , and then worry for two days that they are taking money from other people , because the ad lists it as still for sale

I agree. Unless you are buying it, or you are the seller of it, price is of no concern to you. Move along. The "good semaritan" excuse is getting old IMO........

NO SOUP FOR YOU!!

I wonder if these same twits stop at every gas station on their way home to tell them the station down the street is $.02 less.

There are some good points above. Here' another: If you take a week to pay for an item, don't expect to see it in your mailbox 24 hours after you pay for it. Give it some time, perhaps as long as it took to PAY for the item. This is not so much from here, but from e-bay experiences. The mail or UPS takes a while, be patient. Once the seller mails or sends the item, he no longer has any influence on when it arrives.

How about this one...
You're participating in a thread about a product and notice that you have a PM. The PM is from a distributor of the product that is being discussed in the thread. The distributor tries to encourage you to visit their site and purchase the product. You respond saying that if he can offer you a good price, you may purchase from him. When he asks what you think a fair price is, he litterally laughs (Types HAHAHA) in his response.
First of all, I believe that these tactics by vendors are prohibited by RR rules. Second, HE APPROACHED ME! Why would he laugh at an honest response to his question!?
Some people...

They are just adding a comment to the post to move it back to the top of the forum list. You also see TTT or To The Top for this.
