Audacity Models Pantera 50 - Tiger 50 > Century Tail also fits

The Century Hawk Pro tail assembly is a direct fit on the Pantera. I installed one last night to check fit. I used the hub and all. Everything lines up perfectly and there is full travel in both directions. So, you can choose Century 30/60 tail assembly in plastic (CN2235) or aluminum (CN2236) and have a tail you can count on. I have CN2235 on my Primary Hawk Pro. Both versions feature nice quality thrust bearings.

FYI, so does the Align, and the Raptor tails. For that matter, just about any tail is interchangeable, they are pretty much use the same size output shaft. I haven't put the Align and Raptor tails on the Pantera, but I have put the Pantera tail on the Raptor, and an Align tail on the Raptor, so they will be able to go back and forth.

No, they dont. I have all of those tails here. The Align and the Raptors have offset grips or different length attach points.

Seems odd that the Pantera tail works fine on the Raptor, but it doesn't go the other way.

I just got home and looked. The Raptor tail grips wont work on a Pantera because they are offset. The Align 600 tail grip arms however are centered and while I havent checked their length, it does look like it would fit the Pantera well.

Have you been living under a rock for the past three years?
I changed over to a century tail assembly many moons ago durring the Tiger mark II upgrades untill JB fixed the problem. The stock Pantera had the upgrade with no problem.
Stay with stock tail blades and your golden. Folks you need to remember that the Pantera spins a tail faster then other 50 class ships. no need to upgrade to carbon or longer tail blades.
bling is nice untill you kill a ship with your silly ideas.

Bling is good and your wallet is fat as long as it's flight tested. Trust me. I have upgraded many a bird just to back down when it does not work.

Hey Bill,

I only fly the stock blades on the Audacity helis. Look at any picture I have ever posted of my Tigers or Panteras and you will know thats true. John vindicated me today in regards to the Pantera tail. There is a problem, he has known about the problem and has now addressed the problem. In regards to bling, I wouldnt say I bling anymore than you do and anything I'm doing I'm usually looking for a performance change, not just appearance. As for killing a ship with silly ideas, If the way mine flew before the stock tail failed was any indication, I have been going the right direction! That thing was perfect. I was sorry to see it go.

Go download the manual for the Raven and compare the sizes listed to the Pantera ones.

MartyH,
Thats real odd. I did not know your flying stock blades.
You have been flying for several years without a problem.
are the grips from a new run?
