| I would have been a bit concerned if it would be supplied without a hard case as there would have been no proper support for the connectors/wiring. But since there is a case, I can't see an issue.

| I've got an SK-360, and have flown enough V-Bar setups to knowthat the Probar is a better flying system than either.

Then your comment at the end:

| If the Probar can satisfy his expectations of a good flybarless system, then I'd keep an open mind before drawing any conclusions.

Talking about a contradiction of terms!! Which one is it?? I understand that as a Field Rep, you have to promote a product, but I always cringe when somebody else's equipment is declared as "Inferior" in comparison. This is up to the Users and Customers to decide, NOT to friends or Reps of the Manufacturer.
Despite all that.....another flybarless system on the market is great...the more the merrier. This might just force our heli manufacturers to finally come out with at least new accessories, such as dedicated flybarless heads for retro fitting.
And if they don't do it then the aftermarket accessory Manufacturers are going to jump on the bandwagon as the market size is constantly increasing.
As an example: This is the first jump into flybarless for me. The reason that I am jumping into it, is that one of my helies Manufacturer is actually bringing out a fully designed and tested flybarless head for his product. On top of that, he is also making a new plate to increase usable mounting space for this specific reason.
Add to this that I purchased the flybarless system that they used for testing and that the Manufacturer is going to provide us with the settings that they found to work best for that combo, and you have yourself a neat package with low risk and high probability of success straight out of the box, even for the first timer.
I am sure your Probar will be a success and I am looking forward to the first reports of your first Customers.
If the flybarless systems are as good as it is made out and the prices are in a realistic margin/window, I myself have another 5 helies that will need converting over the next couple of years. |
