Not sure if you're aware but espirit is carrying Furion parts and it seems they are 20-30% cheaper on everything.

Wow!

My Furion flys great and is amazingly reliable. I'm happy to see that the parts have come down in price.

my LHS here www.rcheliworld.com.au has the furion parts pretty competitive.

the furion IS a little more exxy than the trex, but u really cant compare to the flight characteristics. the Furion is miles ahead in design and performance

just a side note, one thing i have found is that where the trex used to bog, the furion wont, so this leads me to think the head design is refined to reduce drag and AUTOs ARE FUN!

menace, the Furion also seems to have a MUCH more efficient tail. With a loose belt on the Rex, I couldn't get the head to free spin very long, but with a tight belt on the Furion, it just seems so effortless.

Also, the head on the Furion seems to carry a greater cache of potential energy than a Rex. I haven't done the math on it, but you can feel the difference in overall weight (the Furion head seems to weigh more to me) and the energy it takes to get the two heads spinning (again, it seemed harder to get the Furion head spinning).

I'm thinking that the direct belt tail drive is the feature that significantly reduces drag as compared to the jackshaft driven belt of the Trex.

No doubt the head on the Furion is an awesome performer as well.

I have been getting my Furion parts from Esprit almost exclusively, their prices have been lower than MAP (Tower's prices) from the beginning. I think a true dyed in the wool RC enthusiast might have a little bit of sympathy for his peers! LOL

yep, i think thats it, cos i been doing inv-autos with it and i can regain HS easily

this seems the case also, i just cant get enough of it, i LOVE flying it

one thing i have read ppl post up is "it flies like a bigger heli"... i dont really know what that means, i think it flies like a 450 and it does so in the smoothest and most responsive way possible

one thing i can say is that if u feel like cruising, it will do so beautifully, and if u feel like attempting to be like Mr. High Voltage, it will just "Do It"....without changing settings
