ok so im building this heli now, it makes my logo seem small, the quality is great and im well pleased with it

ive got 1 question (for a minute)

how much gap should there be between the phasing block and the base of the rotor head

phasing block

You will likely end up with the phasing block about 1mm from the head. You want the pins to stay engaged in the phasing block while the swash is all the way down without the pins hitting while the swash is all the way up.

Your overal pitch range will determine where that is for your particular machine.

Here is a great tip for you: Look for the alignment hole on the side of the main frame to help get the elevator A-arm and the two back bellcranks centered for a nice and level wash plate at mid stick/zero pitch.

From there you will use travel volume to achieve total pitch travel and adjust the phasing ring position.
