Works perfect! Just make sure you use the right pinion for your motor.

Yes, 6 volt BEC and I think it's rated at 4 amps.

These motors have different bearings in them...MUCH smoother, IMO. Noise when they are unloaded is quite a bit better, and they hold a gear mesh better.

Thanks for that information, are the bearings of a different size, or just better quality?

Better quality. Should over all last longer, less maintenance.

Soooo

they're not just "re-labeled" Scorpions?? That's whay I had heard. I need to order another motor soon and if they are different, I'll have to look into them.

Motors might be worth the extra 5 bucks over the regular Scorpion prices for the improved bearings.

If that ESC is identical to the Commander 60A V2 it's kind of hard to justify the extra 20 bucks. Does anyone know if there is any variation in the MA part?

Scorpion uses NSKs', I wonder if these Min Air bearings are sealed and what brand of bearing???

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Are these two the "same"?
Does both have a 6V BEC?

Yes they are the same esc. The bearings in the motor make a huge difference in sound in flight. The furion with the new motor with the japan bearings in it are alot smoother! Oh and i have quite a few flights on it and the bearings hold up much better than the stock.

No these two ESCs are definitely not the same unit. The link posted to the Ron Lund site is the Scorpion 6 cell switching BEC. The Miniature Air unit is the Commander series unit which has a max four cell linear BEC.

Here are the links to the Scorpion Importer's listings for the two units.

I got the part that they are "different" but what are they, ceramic, sealed, vxbs?? NSK are made in Japan as well, so what's the difference in these bearings?

Better bearings would be nice. I think it looks better also.

I am currently running Castle 45 and i think it is only 3A BEC
Is anyone running 4 digitals with issues? Like 3 5065s and 3500G
With alot of pitch, not just sport flying.
May be a reason it is needed. Also I have recorded many spikes over 60 Amps

I have used the CC45 with 4 5065s and 9257 without any issues.

With the -6 on 11T it gets warm, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Ok so apparently we will not know what these bearings are....
