| Make sure the belt is properly tensioned before you do because you can trim the rod but you can't add back on to it . . . just like in carpentry, measure twice, cut once! We've not really had an issue with the rods being too long, except when a Pantera rod is fitted to a Tiger because it's a little bit too long for that application but you have a Pantera (I think), so be certain you really have to cut it.
