Wow the RJX all metal tail grips is a nice looking piece of work! The one I bought for my now deceased Pantera just arrived. Before I sent it off to Mr. HillBilly I had to take a look. Very nice piece. You will love it John and it's on the way today along with the fan and hub. Keep an eye out for it.

Mr. Hillbilly has the RJX tail assembly. I think it looks amazing. What do you think John?

Well here they are. The tail shaft is .040" longer and the control balls are about .020" farther out, but other than that they are about identical. Who does not like a little more tail anyways.



The top shaft is Audacity and the bottom is RJX. The Audacity version is a little more heavy duty but it is a little shorter overall. On the assembled grips the RJXs are a again .040 longer it just does not look that way in the pic.



And here they are waiting for tomorrow.

Hi John,

Be careful how you determine which hub is more "heavy duty".We dont know what alloys are used or to what hardness they are tempered. I have not had a problem with the Audacity hub but those tail drive shafts seem made of very soft steel.

You have to use the Audacity hub for this application right?

Good point. Lets rephrase that. The Audacity one is larger and it looks a little more heavy duty.

The RJX slides right on, so you can use the RJX shaft or Audacity shaft. Since it is only .020" longer on each side I do not see why it will make a difference.

Did you happen to weigh the RJX tail before putting it on the Pantera? Curious how much more it weighs than the stock one.
