| This is a common problem that I ran into as well. I spoke with John about it a while back. According to him there is no plan to fix it. You either wrap tape around the boom which is not that uncommon of a practice or you slice the parting line with a hacksaw to reduce the diameter of the hole so it will pinch the boom before it bottoms out.
