| I don't have a HC-500 yet, but it's going to be my next helicopter to complete the fleet. I've been flown both versions (V1, and V2) of the HDX-500SE, and they were both slow in the cyclic. I used Trex-500 flybar to replace the original one in V2, and it flew real well (fast enough for me). I like the HC-500SE that can take different types of servos. However, the frame is still fiber glass, and it is heavier than carbon fiber frame.
For the usage of Scorpion motor, the HK-3026 1600KV seems to be too much RPM, and the 1400KV has too high "No load" current. IMO, the 1210KV type (http://www.innov8tivedesigns.com/pr...products_id=311) would be the best choice, but you have to gear up to get a correct RPM. Well, I just wait for Helidirect.com to get them in stock, and I'll get one.
Please update its flying characteristics whenever you can. Thanks. |
