Anyone have any info on this, looks like there bringing out a new version of HDX called HC, Looked interesting but seems a bit pricey when the Trex 500 will only cost a bit more.
Dont know what ESC or motor will come with the package, but its 6s by the looks.

Hello,

This helicopter is exactly he himself who HDX 500, only the different thing is that they have changed the main gear to him to be able to fly 6s, that is by the subject of the revolutions, that if is not too many, greetings !!

I have not changed the main gear if not that I have changed the motor pinion, he is align of 13T, thus I obtain 2479 rpm in the rotor, but in the radio I limit it my taste and I use batteries 6s.

PD: Now, that remember was necessary to enlarge the cosmooth ones that holds the motor, to obtain the attack of the pinion with the main gear , thanks

actually you are wrong there.
The frame has been changed, the cyclic ratio is more agressive, the gear ratio for the main AND tail has been changed.
Not sure what motor and esc will come with it.
If you have a look at the current prices in AU for a Trex 500 vs a new HC 500....the HC is quite a bit cheaper.
Anyway, we will all see whats what when its out in stores

If you bling it, they will come :D

have had the hc500 a few weeks now mind you im a bit slow still building it
the main frame is diffent flybar cage is diffent main gear is 140t battery tray you can change head button is like the t rex you can change ball holes in the blade grips mix arms can fit one hole or 2 hole mini servos comes with servo arms you bolt on to the norm servo wheels metal tail gear the bottom of the frames are at a angle so the tail lifts up off the ground ie the boom is at a 10 deg angle to the ground comes pre built ie head frams assy tail assy more space to put and tie cables just need to get around to flying it but uk weather not so good at mo
hope this helps

yes had the hdx 500 sas std servo
didnt think much the plastic head and tail though so upgraded to all alloy flew real nice very stable was shocked how well it flew had flow a trex 450 and was very twitchey so wasnt sure what to exspect i dont fly full 3d so cant tell you on that but mate does and was very surprised was little lack in power for that on 4s and gearing from std not the best
thats why i brought the new hc500 gone scorpion 1600 motor scorpion esc 140 main gear 12t pinion 6s 3700 lipo the 1600 motor mite be to high head speed as can only get 12t smallest so mite have to change motor to 1400 but will see

going back to the hc500 set up you can get +/- 10 pitch and more if change the blade grip balls and 7deg cyclic pitch if you buy the longer wash out arms you can get more cyclic

beware when buying a new v3 kit there seem to be 2 types one type being like the v1 frame set up with bellcrank linkage from servo to swash and all 3 servos sit at the back

the other is like the v2 frames with direct linkage from servos to swash 2 servos at front 1 at back

the hc i had is all alloy head and tail apart from plastic wash out whitch i upgraded

as for flyingand what its like will let you know

My v2 had metal tail and head from new and flew real nice, ive heard the plastic tail was no good.

I found I can just scrape in about 9 deg up and down, actually I seem to be able to get 10 one way and 9 the other.

As far as the 4s setup its a bit slow, but I can live with it, its not to bad, Im sure with the 6s setup your running will really get up and boogie.

All I have found is that its very slow to flip over, hopefuly the new HC 500 will be better in this regard, not just for 3d but even rolls and loops I find can be a bit dicey dew to the fliprate, one day when I get it flying again im gonna try the trex flybar and paddles, ive read this helps a bit.

Hello everyone, and above all, Merry Christmas, commenting only that the helicopter will perefect with this configuration, and the tail rotor responds to perfection, the only problem is, the main gears , is broken! , You have to ride the Microheli of which are manufactured in "DELRIN" Greetings and good flight!

I waited and still waiting, but I have not seen it yet. I finally gave up and upgraded my HDX-500SE V2 using Trex-500 power components. It flies very strong. I think the HC's price comes very close to the Trex-500ESP's price, and that's the reason why the HC is still behind the curtain.

Hello guys,

I was cheking this heli at:

http://www.cnchelicopter.com/servle...pter/Categories

Has any one has try one? It has a 140T Main gear. Do it also suffer from static from the belt in the boom????

So what you think about this new heli? Do you recomend me buying from www.cnchelicopter.com

THX,

Isaac

I don't have a HC-500 yet, but it's going to be my next helicopter to complete the fleet. I've been flown both versions (V1, and V2) of the HDX-500SE, and they were both slow in the cyclic. I used Trex-500 flybar to replace the original one in V2, and it flew real well (fast enough for me). I like the HC-500SE that can take different types of servos. However, the frame is still fiber glass, and it is heavier than carbon fiber frame.

For the usage of Scorpion motor, the HK-3026 1600KV seems to be too much RPM, and the 1400KV has too high "No load" current. IMO, the 1210KV type (http://www.innov8tivedesigns.com/pr...products_id=311) would be the best choice, but you have to gear up to get a correct RPM. Well, I just wait for Helidirect.com to get them in stock, and I'll get one.

Please update its flying characteristics whenever you can. Thanks.
